I have chickens and i normally use straw to put underneath the perches. But latley it just doesnt cut it any other ideas for bedding?

You may find it's worth it to buy some pine shavings at TSC. They absorb the moisture well and help mask odor.

What about sand? That's what we use. Love it. Very easy to clean.
