Hey guys, looking to see if anyone could help me find a simple plan or design of a coop. Ive got ten pullets about 2 weeks old, Needing to start building but its been so rainy. Anyway. Im limmited of wood, and right now no job so budget is at 0. lol

No matter what you are looking at a few hundred dollars in wood or wire unless you work your butt off collecting reclaimed materials. Even then, be prepared to have to buy what you can't find. You can look for things on freecycle, craigslist, maybe an old shed, kennels, etc..and you can go to the front page and click on the coop section for lots of pictures.

There are some coops on the Coop Design section that people have made from scrounged pallets - might work.

Well I have SOME wood, And have been getting some from locals, Just wanted to see if people was in the same perdicament, and could help in anyway.

I just gave you the advice I have to give myself. You will have to research / know / decide what your area, weather, predator issues, size limits, etc will be..and then go from there..but there isn't one coop that works for all. I too will probably use palets, reclaimed plywood, etc but finding enough cheap hardware cloth..that's another issue.

I have a few rolls of Poultry netting from last year, and Yea, I know everything I need to know but a good coop plan, I have one drawn, But dunno how it would work.
