Coop question

i want to build an elevated coop. how high up do you recomend it be?

When I build mine in about 2 weeks my coop will be about 3 feet from the ground just because the box I have is about 3 feet and I want a 6 foot run hight.

Mine is about 2 1/2 feet off the ground. I was looking to have a little area under the coop that the girls could hang out at if the sun got to be too much!

I would go about 6 inches...kinda scared of heights and plus that way short folks can reach in

I put mine on a snow mobile trailer and put it on the property line it is portable so no building permit was needed and neighbors couldn't complain.

Know I am looking for a halfway decent camping trailer to gut out and put nesting boxes in.

Definitely high enough for your chickens to go under for sun protection and flying predator protection.
