Coop Renovation Suggestions

We are gonna redo the coop, I want to bring the backside out about 4 by 8. Then in the back part of the house put 16 Nest boxes. Then rip out the present roosts and put bigger roosts that are all the same height (about 4 feet tall). The final measurements would be an 8 by 12 coop with 16 nests and 4 or 5 ten foot long roosts. Any other suggestions?

That's alot of nest boxes for an 8X12 coop. Now, they say you need 1 nest box per three hens.....and I sure hope you're not planning to put 48 hens in there! They would beat the crap outta eachother.......
