Hi,

I haven't put a roof on my coop yet and was wondering if I can simply put this piece (below) of corrugated hard plastic on as a roof, or should I first put a layer of plywood down and then lay the hard plastic on top? I live in Western Pennsylvania and we generally get around a dozen nights under 0 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter. This is a hard plastic, not metal material and it is corrugated, so it won't be an air tight roof. Plywood first? Or corrugated plastic alone?

Thanks!!!

We live in eastern Canada and see temperatures to -30 to -40 during the winter. We have around 14 laying hens in a greenhouse all winter with no heat source and we have had no problems.as long as they're dry and there water doesn't freeze you shouldn't have to worry
