Hello,
I'm an active chicken shower and decided to give away my LF birds and focus on Bantams. Since we are getting rid of the LF, the coop is going with them, and we are going to build a nicer, chicken tractor. So, my question is, what's an ideal size coop for 8-10 Bantam hens? Right now we only have 3, but I am going to a show next month and panning on getting a Silike and 4 Polish Frizzle chicks. I'm super excited for the Polish. Which brings me to my next question, what is ideal brooder size for 4-5 Bantam chicks?
Thanks!

For the coop the suggested minimum size for bantam is 2sq feet per bird I believe. Meaning at least 20 sq feet of coop space.

The brooder can be 2'x1' to begin with. Then a heat light can be rigged in the coop itself. My portable coops have an elevated house that works great for a brooder, by just shutting the ramp door until they are old enough to go out.
