I am converting my kids old cabin style playhouse into a coop. I made shutters for the windows that will be access to the nest boxes, but for the other windows I want to put hardware cloth and keep them open air and make some maybe snap on vinyl covers for when it's raining or colder months. Does anyone have any better ideas or opinions on this? Thanks!

Make a window to fit the opening? If you put vinyl or wood, will there be any light getting in the coop?

@blackdog043 I would use clear vinyl. @eggbert420 here's the two windows and door window I'm wanting to cover. They are small so I feel like wood would be overkill. I would have the covers off when the weather is nice.

Seeing the picture, clear vinyl will work on those two. Are there windows on the right side that you can have open for ventilation?
