Try installing a bathroom vent fan on a timer.....low end, plane jane bathroom vent fan is about $15. The timer, just one of those plug-in rotating dial types that are everywhere right now with the holidays coming up and a lite guage extension cord.
Install the vent fan at a high point inside the coop, plug the timer into one of the already installed outlets and run the extension cord from the timer to the vent fan (it should already have a 2 prong male plug). Set the timer to turn on for a short time several times a day, and viola, automatic ventillation.
I have a similar setup in my garage in Florida to vent built up hot air during the summer.
Hope that helps, its a fairly simple and inexpensive solution.
