There's a million ideas here!!! Check out the creative inexpensive/recycled coops folks have made! As a newbie myself, the some advice I would look for is to insure the security of your flock, varmints are all around...depending on where you live, winged, two legged and four legged, underground, on land, in the sky! Yikes!
