cooper hawk attack!!

my mom saw something go into the, chicken coop and it wasn't a chicken so my dad called me outside. he said that there was a hawk inside, the chicken the chicken coop.of corse i din't beleve him but then we opened the, nest box....... there was a cooper hawk inside my chicken coop!!!! OMG!!!!
so we opened the door to the coop, it flew out on, my play set!!! we all went inside becouses we din't, think it was going to attack the chickens.a few minutes later the hawk jumed, of the play set and went after the chickens!!!!! my mom was yelling like crazy! i'am so glad it din't get any chickens.never ever trust a hawk even, if its small.

Hawks are federal protected so I'd advise to just lockup the chickens inside the coop for awhile.

we moved the hawk like 20 or 30 minutes away from my house do, think it will come back?

Many hawks have a range of 20+ miles in a day, and more if food is scarce. There are also hawks migrating right now. It's very hard to say if it will come back or not.
