Welcome To BYC.
You may want to ask staff to combine your threads so they are all in the same place - it can get confusing to have more than one thread for the same thing.

Where are you keeping the chicks?
Where are you located in the world?
What do you feed?
Photos of the brooder and other chicks would be good too.

If you have more than one that is having this issue, then you may be dealing with respiratory illness. Are there any other symptoms?

When you open the eye is there pus or bubbles?

General care for the eye is to flush with saline, remove pus/debris, then apply an eye ointment like Terramycin or you can use plain neosporin.

Ensure that they have good ventilation and that they are eating their normal feed.

Chicks are in my spare bedroom.
I’m in Glendale, AZ
I was feeding Pratt’s starter chick feed then I switched to manna pro chick starter and feed non medicated and I was considering switching them to manna pro medicated. These are some photos one of them it’s dirty because I hadn’t cleaned it yet but the others are photos of the setup over the last couple of weeks. I’m not home or I would take more photos.

I didn’t see pus but it looked bubbled up on the one chicks eye that I posted a picture of. But not bubbles.

I’ve only noticed them itching their eyes, the swelling as seen in photo which causes eye to be shut but when I wet it it opens and I did put neosporin on it but it’s off brand. Some sneezing but not a lot and it’s in the chicks without eye symptoms. But it’s not a lot so it could be normal sneezing. Their scratching at their eyes tho and have the swelling.

In the US, medicated feed contains Amprolium which is a Coccidiostat, it would not help with respiratory infection or diseases.

It looks like in the one photo, the swelling might due to pus, you may need to press on the eye and see if any comes out. Keep the eyes cleaned out and apply the ointment 2-3 times a day, removing pus each time. (pus will not dry up on it's own and has to be removed)

I see a smaller chick in your brooder - did you get chicks from different sources?

Likely you are dealing with respiratory illness. Depending on which one, an antibiotic may be helpful in treating some symptoms. Tylosin can be ordered online https://www.jedds.com/shop/tylan-soluble-100-g/

Depending on their age, they may not need a lot of heat since they are inside, so monitor that. Do you smell a lot of ammonia in the room? If you do, then that can be irritating to the eyes (and yours) too.

Here's some info on poultry diseases.

I’m not too sure what ammonia smells like but I will check. I did get them from different sources however I got them over three weeks ago. If the pus won’t come out when I push on the eye how else can I get it out?
