Our Copper Marin is sooo weird! Every time the one rooster (very specific to the roo) cock-a-doodle-doo's, she makes the funniest Coo'ing sound, like a loud dove! We initially thought perhaps she was a he, and we are still not 100% sure, but if sje is a roo it is officially the strangest noise ever!
She is a large, speckled hen (?), approximately around 4 1/2 months old. So, do you guys think we have a roo who is making funny noises or a hen making funny noises? Also, none of our hens have laid yet so we still have no actual confirmation on male/female in our small flock.
