Copper maran - hen or roo?

Hi all - i have a suspect 3-month old copper maran. Has not been making much noise yet but we're starting to question if this is a roo... any obvious thoughts??? Thanks ahead!

Yes, they do make great rooster though! I love my two buff roosters.

I agree, the Marans is for sure a cockerel, and if the Orpington is the same age, he's unfortunately a boy as well

That's unfortunate. I'm also not technically allowed to have rooster where I'm at either but my neighbors don't care as we all have animals not allowed in our zoning laws and the sheriff never comes by.
