I have a chick with possibly cocci. I have bought the corid and mixed it up. I was just wonder how often i should give the chick the solution with my dropper and how much at a time.

You should put the solution in the waterer, so that the chick can get it all thru out the day, You don't have to use a dropper. I think the correct dosage is 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of water. You need to make a fresh batch every 24 hours. Make sure that the treated water is the only water that the chicks can get to. Good luck with your chick, and let us know how it is doing.

The poor thing is to weak to try and get to a waterer to drink out of it. I have to feed it with the end of a chopstick and give water with an eyedropper. Chick is doing better this morning. She had an appetite this morning for the first time in 2 days! She was kinda just letting what you fed her just kinda sit in her mouth now she actually EATS it! She is keeping her eyes open more too. She wouldnt open her eyes at all when u tried to feed her or anything now she is sitting in my lap looking at me! Big improvement since yesterday!

Half tsp. for 20% one tsp. for 9% I've given them water by hand every few hrs. And had ones come back that I was convinced wasn't gonna make it.

Ok! I have the 9% so half a teaspoon per gallon was correct? And this lil one scared me bad and i am still worried about her. Could i feed her something like cottage cheese or yougart? She is having a tough time with the mash i made with crumbles i have it pretty wet but she is just not feeling that at all.
