Corn stalk bales vs Straw for bedding

I have used straw in the past. I have a farmer that has corn stalk bales. Anyone ever use those for their duck bedding?

Corn stalk bales, isn't that more for cattle? I can't imagine that would be very user friendly for duck bedding.

That is my thought. I feel like it is way to bulky...BUT straw mats down so fast and wondered if this might be better.

I am guessing it wouldn't hurt to give it a try and see how it works out for you.
