Those are some thick legs and big chest so I'm leaning Cornish for my guess but could also just be a beefy male since the comb is coming in pretty intensely for the age as well.
leghorns get combs pretty quickly. i’m just not sure if this a comedian cross or a leghorn. I only have chickens for the eggs and am not sure what to do.Those are some thick legs and big chest so I'm leaning Cornish for my guess but could also just be a beefy male since the comb is coming in pretty intensely for the age as well.
i only have this one who is 2 weeks. others are couple of days to 1 weekCan you post a pic of this chick beside another two-week old? That should tell the story.
the one i have standing next to the hopefully not cornish cross is what i believe to be a week old. the feed store has not got any cornish crosses for 3 weeks but this one was mislabeled to start with (was with the turkey poults )Well. Is he like, twice as big as the one-week old?
