I have 17 14 week old chickens, 4 of which are Cornish Rocks. Yesterday, one of the Rocks was unable to walk. One of his feet was curled up and he couldn't stand. I pulled his food for 12 hours and gave him plenty of water. Today he is standing up but can't really walk except a step or two with a bad limp. Could he have Mareks? He is eating and drinking. I bought all these chicks at Tractor Supply so I don't know if they were vaccinated or not. None of the Plymouth Rocks or Reds have any problems and the other Cornish Rocks all seem fine too. What are my chances of Mareks vs. him just getting too big? Please, I'm worried about losing all my babies!

There's no guarantee, but my gut is leaning towards the myriad growth problems that are associated wit the cornish X. Hoping that this is the case.

Call or go to TSC tomorrow and ask if the chicks were vaccinated.

Yeah, I plan on going by to see Tractor Supply first thing in the morning. I now know Cornish X's aren't made for the long term but I want to give them a good life while they are here.

Someone on here, has managed to keep them for a long time. Try and find her thread...she says that a lot of exercise, plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables and limited feed is how she has kept them going. I wish I knew where to find it, it was probably almost a year ago. They were so cute and happy :) Good luck with your guys, it sounds like you are trying your best :)
