I am using a Little Giant to hatch my eggs....the first 10 days the temp stayed at 100=102 and the humidity 38. Now I am having problems getting them to stabilize. I was running it still air and bought a fan that my husband installed while I was candling eggs at 7 days. When I tried with the fan I could not get any consistency at all so I went back to still air. Am I keeping to the correct T and H?? Also it is starting to loose temp at night. I am putting a towel around it tonight to see if it keeps it regulated. Thanks!!!

Take a look at my BYC page (in my signature) and look at the top for my incubation cheat-sheet.

It may help you figure out some of your worries- also, be careful with the towel, as it may keep air flow from occurring well enough. Make sure you allow the bottom and the top vents to stay clear.

Thank you sooooo much Chooks!!!I could not believe the booklet that came with it did not even give you a clue.....Pfffff. Saving up for a hovabator 1588. One of my best friends got hers last week...very nice!

Well, that's something I wish I saw 2 weeks ago.....back to the "will they hatch" corner.....

Sorry!! If you have eggs cooking, just let them fizzle down on humidity to as low as it will go until lockdown day, then do the paper towels.

I'm always trying to get the info out there...perhaps I'll make an ad.
