My Brinsea Mini Advance incubator arrived this past Monday & I am ready to begin collecting eggs. The guidelines for this incubator states to store the eggs point side down & rotate the eggs at least twice daily. This seems pretty straight forward. It also states to store the eggs (prior to incubating) at a temperature of >50 & <70 degrees. I have also read to store at 40 to 50 degrees. Can someone help me out? What temperatures are best for storing eggs prior to incubating?

Thanks!

Thank you for your reply's.

I have an old mini-fridge that doesn't cool all the way down correctly. I keep it set on high and it stays around 55 degrees. Works good for me.
