I just set up my incubator for my 5 turkey eggs. I set the temp at 37.3 C and the humidity is at 57, is this ok for them? And how often should I put water in the incubator? Any other advice would be appreciated. :)

I incubate my turkey eggs at 99.5°F (37.5°C). I try to maintain the humidity around 30% during the incubation stage and raise it to 60% to 70% for lockdown. I move my eggs to lockdown on day 25.

in what way?

not doubting you... just looking for clarification for the OP
If I tried to go to 80% humidity for lockdown, none of my turkey eggs would hatch. I am not saying that the person who wrote the article can't hatch turkeys at that humidity but what works in one place will not necessarily work everywhere.

I am currently working on a Hovabator 1588 which clearly contains the warning on it to not raise the humidity above 65% for the use of that incubator.

There is also the issue about whether or not the person is using a calibrated hygrometer. Most incubators do not come with an accurate hygrometer.

I read that because we are in Arizona and it gets EXTREMELY dry outside, like 30% at the highest, that the humidity should be higher and that I should put more water in the incubator. Would you agree or should I keep the humidity at 35%?:idunno

All I can tell you is what works for me. It is dry here, I have to add water to get to 30%.

My incubator is around that. Some pages say it should be higher like 55% some say lower. I will just keep it at the temp it is at. Thanks!
Many manufacturer's advise 50 to 55% humidity for incubation. I can't even get by with that range for my chicken eggs and definitely not for my turkey eggs.

Good luck.
