coturnix eggs

today is day 13 for my 42 quail eggs . when do i need to take them out of the turner?and start the humidity to rising?

The instructions that came with my bator say that cortunix eggs take 17-18 days, so you want to stop turning them, and raise humidity, 3 days before. So either after day 14 or 15. Still turn them normally the 14th or 15th day.

O.K. i will take them off the turner and add more water tomorow after noon.and start watching for pips.sure hope i gat some tiny fuzzy butts from them.

Good luck! I took my cortunix and buttons and put them in the hatcher last night. So I am waiting right along with you!!

Stop turning coturnix at day 14, and bump the humidity up. Mine usually only take 16-17 days...good luck!
