coturnix hen sick need help

I have just found one of my hens having a siezure or something. She can't walk and her head is twitching and pulling back over her right wing. I separated her from tbe flock, is this something that i should be concerned about with the other birds or just sommething with this one bird. I haven't added new birds or changed feed, nothing different.

I do not have experience with this breed but, I do know a little. The others should be fine. It is a possibility that she could be having mental or internal nerve issues. If this continues for to long(try giving her vitamins) I would cull her

Ok, thanks, the others ain't showing any signs. They seem fine

Sounds like she had a good head boinking. They can do major damage to themselves when they try to flush into the hair when startled and instead hit the top of a cage or pen. Keep watching her to make sure she is able to eat and drink and her covey members don't pick on her. You may need to separate her or give her food and water in low dishes so she can reach them. You can usually tell in a few days to a couple of weeks if they will be OK.
