coturnix quail chick ID

I could get nicely marked ones from the Tibetan and the lighter goldens though too?

I love figuring out color genetics - this could probably get as addicting as the rabbit color genetics!

Ike is a poorly marked tux

I bred Ike to a brown hen (who was carrying A & M) this is her resulting chicks:

Panda who is already marked nicer than his daddy:

Then I bred Ike to Rosie a rosetta tibetan (just a basically marked tibetan tinted red hteres actual RED coturnix though. ROsie obviously carries the A & M gene because of this:::: actually i take that back Rosie doenst NEEd to carry A & M to produce tuxedo so ignore that.... to get tuxdeo it is always A & M to Tibetan....wether the A & M is hidden or the Tibetan is hidden you can sitll get tuxedos):

I will have Panda to Rosies chciks soon (eggs in incubator)

SO as you can see you can take crappy tuxes and as long as you breed them right you will get some tuxedos some that are way better than the original:)
