Coturnix quail chick with splayed legs

So I have a chick who got splay legs so I put a bandaid on him last night.
I just checked on him and he slipped out of one end of the bandaid yet he seems to walk normally. Should I leave it off or keep him on it for another day?

but I would vote for sticking it back on for one day.

Even though he is walking OK now, it might not be firmly set, and slip back out too easily.

One more day might make it more likely to be a permanent fix.
