cough or hiccup??

This is my 4 year hen who has been doing this for about 2 weeks now. She seems fine otherwise...eating, drinking, and moving. She is panting bc despite water mister and multiple fans and shade and cold water...it is 105 in texas. any ideas? i couldn't upload the video except to the "gallery" so you can watch and listen to cough there. sorry for that inconvenience.

Is she doing that all the time or just when she's been eating/drinking?

I'd check to make sure her crop is emptying overnight.

she does it all the time. i notice it might increase in frequency if she's excited or has been moving around, but it is all the time. even roosting at night.

When was her last egg? She may be beginning to have a bit of reproductive problems.
