Our Pekin that is currently undergoing bumble foot treatment and is kept in a cage, in the coop at night and in a pen during the day is coughing and sneezing. I noticed it this morning, and then again today. I have just changed out her water bowl to a cut down bucket so she has more depth, thinking maybe she can’t get adequate depth for good sinus health, dunno if this will work but looking for advice, she’s NOT enjoying her isolation.
Also none of the other ducks are doing it.

Sorry to hear about your duck.

Sneezing and coughing could be an environmental/management issue such as lack of sufficient deep water, dusty feed, or bedding, lack of adequate ventilation, or pollen. Much less likely, a respiratory infection. Sounds like it has been caused because the water dish wasn't deep enough, I'd personally, wait a few hours and see if it stops since you provided her with a deep water dish.

If it persists, could you upload a video of her coughing?

Still coughing today 😕she has a big water for dunkage . I’ll see how she’s doing tonight, seems to be when she gets excited and starts quacking, I went to pine shavings from hay for bedding for health and aroma reasons. I wonder if she’s got issues with it or a bit of it stuck somewhere.
