My egg ducks have decided they are meat producers this summer... endless secret nests. I have one Drake. He is a Blue Swedish. I have 2 Rouens and 2 Gold Star Hybrids. One Rouen nest has hatched (the three in my profile picture) and one Gold has hatched a nest. There are 3 more nests out in the grass (1st Rouen has already made another nest).

Of the ducklings that have hatched they are Dark with a yellow bib or they are blonde with the blue/grey beak.

Is there any possibility the coloring could be sex linked? I know it is wishful thinking, but I figure if anyone knows it would be someone on this site. If they are it would help me plan what to do with all the buggers. I am looking at 50-60 of them by fall at this rate.

NOTE- the 1st rouen put her nest in an idiotic spot and I wound up finishing hers in an incubator. Irritating but have the coolest hatching pictures.

No, no chance that they are sex-linked given your drake. If you want sex-linked ducks in the future, you need a drake that expresses chocolate (such as a khaki campbell), and ducks (such as rouen) that do not.
