We're first time chick and duck raisers (7 red pullets, 2 Plymouth rocks, and 7 khaki Campbells), and we're building our coop. We've already planned on two separate sides for chickens and ducks. I'd love to hear what you'd like to change about your coop, what you would have built differently, and features of your dream coop!

Welcome to BYC!

I should have installed the bottom hardware cloth. Now it's still possible but it's a lot more work.
Apron is an option but my coop is small so bottom wire requires less material.

Thanks!
So do you mean that under your run you would have out the hardware cloth? I'm not sure what an apron is.
