I have a friend who lives down the road from me and also keeps chichens but has done for a lot longer than me! We have had 3 ex-battery chickens since August. She was saying hers stopped layong for the winter a few weeks ago. Mine are still laying almost everyday! She said she had heard ex-battery hens are so conditioned into laying that they can do through the winter! Could this be right?
