In thinking of getting my kids a goat or two for 4h. We already have rabbits and 18 chickens. I'm just not sure if I have the room for goats? I'm thinking of getting 2 or 3 pygmy goats Maybe 2 does and a weather?. How much space do they need? I don't have alot of space for them to eat from a field, they most likely be sharing the chicken run. How big does the "coop/house" do they need anything special inside? This will be your first big animal. We don't travel much if at all. The longest we are away is overnight. We will not be drinking their milk (lactose-intolerant), maybe using it for soap if I get into another hobby. And will not eat them or their offspring.
