She was a gift to us. Here in Mexico there are fighting chickens in general they call them "gallinas/gallos finos"; I have Hatch hens, Kelso hens, and a Radio Rooster; thing is the person that gave her to us as a gift couldn't remember the breed (because it's also customary for breeders to give the hens as gifts; he also got them as gifts). The hen looks like a mixed breed. Where did you buy her?
They really are beautiful, and the roosters they are turning out with my Radio Rooster are also quite beautiful... Wish I could keep more than one rooster but because they're territorial it's really impossible unless I make them separate pens (which is not quite easy right now). The hen looks like a mixed breed. Where did you buy her?
I finally found out what breed she is, it's a Brown Red Game fowlWith games it is pretty much impossible to tell what line a bird is unless the breeder tells you. She looks close to brown/red is coloring. Beyond that, I couldn't say. But if you post in the American gamefowl thread they may be better able to help you.
