Could there be reasons for a young hen to regurgitate clear fluid and not be a health concern?

I hadn't realized our water feeder wasn't working this morning. It's one of the cheap ones with the cups that refill. I've had some malfunction before and swapped them with extras. The ones that broke didn't seem clogged with gunk they just quit... I brought the other waterer I let them use free ranging and they all went at it fast. One of my smaller girls who gets bullied out was patiently waiting when she got her turn she drank pretty fast.
(Problem)
She came over to me for love with her head low and threw up all over my hand. She acted like it was totally normal 🙄. Clear fluid, slightly mucus like. Google has all kinds of suggestions verging on medical conditions... Is it possible she just drank too fast and it is 75F already... Heat plus her low position in the pecking order... 🤷 I didn't notice any swelling in her crop area and gently pushed around her neck and chest to see if anything felt swollen or hard and she seems fine.

Sounds like she drank a lot of water at one time. If they lower the head or bend down, sometimes water can come back up. Chickens have no gag reflex.

If she's acting o.k. then I wouldn't worry too much, just watch her for a couple of days.

Thanks! That's exactly how it seemed too. She was drinking fast and like acid reflux, she bent over and blah...
I'll keep an eye on her still. 🥰 I don't need more reasons to chill with the chickens but I'll take em.
