I suspect that they are solely based on the fact that the cons of the breed are that they have some attitude.
These chicks; from the moment I opened the box, they have been complete jerks! In fact, one ran up and bit me as soon as the box opened.

Now I've had to separate them from the other chicks, because they don't seem to be letting anyone else eat. Since doing that, these twerps have been squawking so loud. I want to re-home them already, but I would love some help figuring out roughly the breed they could be.

Here's the jerks:

Any help is much appreciated! Thank you!!

There's no way to know for sure but it's very possible that they are Delawares, or another bird that has the Columbian pattern. You might just have to wait and see.

I know what you mean. That comb should be showing at least a little if they were Delaware.
I have a GLW that is stew pot bound since she is mean as heck.

Lol. Glad I'm not the only one!

Thank you everyone for the replies! It's much appreciated!! BYC members are the best!

Could you post a photo showing the comb from the front? If it is a single comb, they are probably Delawares. If it is a rose comb, they are Columbian Wyandottes.

After separating them from the others, they have mellowed out a lot. Time outs are useful! If only they worked so well on my kid.. :)
