i got a chicken book with all the breeds and was wondering if my flying chicken is part Hamburg....it says in the book they fly really good and it has a pic that looks an awful lot like her....
she has the same comb type too.....

Any young bird can fly pretty well... my leghorn girl flies up to the top of the house... we have a two story split level.

Edit: And my 10.5lb roo can clear a 5 foot tall fence no problem...

yeah, I agree with silkiechicken. Any bird can fly well. I have some really big super fat barred rock roo mixes that stay in my barn, they fly up on the side of the stalls (which is 10 ft high) and they perch there all night.

look for something that has white ear lobes and I think thats a pea comb that she has, and different colored legs

Since ee's are mixed they can have many a different variety of colors, combs, leg colors, ear colors, be muffless or muffed and bearded, etc.

My two EE's are the best flyers I have....they can fly from the top of their coop and feeding are to their laying boxes 20 ft away no problem.

Oh and they resemble the chicken in the pic
