hi! my dog's name is molly and i found a small bite mark on her ear, like two red spots.. she is up to date on her shots, she got her rabies vaccine a month ago, along with her spay, but she seems to be panting a lot. which is kinda common for her breed since shes half st bernard and they drool a lot plus its hot here where i live.. but im still worried.. her chin looks kinda wet.. I tried giving her a bath and i had to drag her to the water, but not liking baths is normal for dogs i think, could it just be the heat or could it be something worse? she's been kinda avoiding the water dish... She may have been drinking when im not watching her but im not sure.. she kinda sniffed the water bowl and then left. she hasn't shown any signs of aggression towards me other than barking and getting excited, i read that these could be signs or rabies..

shes not staggering around or anything. I may be overreacting but still im kinda afraid.. drool seems to drip from her mouth..

Considering she's had a Rabies vaccine, highly unlikely. It's been very hot where I live, and if you've had the heat where you live anything like here, and your dog is a giant breed, she's probably just really hot! Drooling is also very normal for these dogs too. Even when they are not hot. The shape of their lips in not conducive to holding that drool in. The bite marks could easily be from flies--ears are a favorite of theirs to prey on! Try to keep her cool and good luck!
