Could use some help, Quackers is quacking at about 5 weeks, female?

Hello all I have a duckling about 5 weeks old and it is quacking a little already. Does this mean this may be a she? I am not sure but I thought I read that it was more than likely and my DW and I would like to hope we have a female duck. Any help would be much appreciated.

Aww we have a Quackers too! Her name is Miss Quackers (because everyone has a duck named "Quackers"). She's a female Pekin.

That is sooooo funny I am pretty sure ours is a pekin also. She was supposed to be a chicken but we got a surprise when a week after our chickens the duck was in the incubator.

if you hear any quacking, even just a little, it is a girl. Boys never quack, but rather have a raspy almost whiny sound to them
