Could you get into trouble if...

If I were to design a product to sell, could I use apart of somebody elses product and incorporate it into mine, or could you get into trouble? Such as a sticker on my creation?

If their product is copyrighted (most creative artwork is) or patented then yes you would get in trouble if you didn't have their written consent.
