Could you guys please pray for my friends...UPDATE

My friends just had their 4th baby boy on Thursday. He had been diagnosed with Trisomy 18, so he will only be here with them for a few days (the average lifetime is 5-15 days).

So could you guys pray for grace and comfort for them and their 3 older boys as they cherish their few precious moments with him and prepare their hearts for when he goes to be with Jesus. His name is Tristan.

I can't help but think that this may be the reason she said, "Hey, I don't need a baby shower -- I've had my share." (Some ladies planned one anyway, as a surprise, and when she came she burst out crying...) Maybe they knew back then and didn't want to tell... I can't imagine what it would be like to lose my child. I have been waiting to hold little Tristan... now I can't. But what's more important is that Taryn and Bob and their boys are able to hold him. I get all teary-eyed every time I think of them.

I am so sorry. I lost a niece to a T18. Micha lived for 7 hours. Micha and my Kaitlyn have a memory plaque set in beautiful park at the south end of Lake Washington. I remember that the words that comforted me the most when I lost my daughter, was that she would be remembered, and that she would be missed. I will think of your friend and her much loved son.
