Yeah I’ll probably keep one Americana too and end up selling the rest I already have the one sebright roo and he’s gorgeous definitely gotta keep him I have 6 others that I know are hens my buddy has a few older chicks still any pointers to look at to be sure to get hens I for sure want an Americana hen to get those pretty blue eggs
Just for the record Americana isn't a thing. The correct spelling of the breed is Ameraucana. The incorrect spelling is often used by people to sell Easter Eggers as Ameraucana. Most people wind up actually having Easter Eggers either way as Ameraucana, even sold under the proper name, are often EE as the Ameraucana breed standard is pretty strict and only has a handful of recognized color variations. That all being said a lot breeders that make Easter Eggers that I've seen are doing so in an attempt to get consistent egg color so you get a lot of popular EE variations for egg color like mint/sage/olive eggers etc.
