california whites, i can deal with that, i just really liked the looks of them, do they keep the spots when they are grown, and please tell me to exxpect lots of eggs.(I have 10 human mouths to feed)
Too many for me. lol. I found a site that says that they "grow fast and lay lots of big white eggs". Didn't give an exact estimate per week though. Hopefully "lots" means 5+/wk.
Tetra tints and California Whites are two different breeds but look almost identical. Both can have grey or black dots. Tetras are supposed to lay brown eggs while California whites lay white eggs. They are both part leghorn, so I would go with close to however many eggs a leghorn lays a week.
