Counted my chickens today, missing a hen

lost my roo today... funny.... I was forwarned yesterday to keep them locked up.... I think a cat got him in the middle of the night, feathers everywhere. I am afraid my birds free ranging days are over...

I had this happen at Christmas. 1 of my hens just disappeared. No feathers ... just gone. 2 days later and she reappeared. She did it again a couple of days later. Now she is a home body and does go far from the coop.

Hope your's comes home.
