Hello all. I've been designing a mobile coop for our girls. It's going to be a PVC hoop house. The last piece of the puzzle is a cover. I'd like to provide shade or at least create a cool space in the summer, but in the winter, I'd like the cover to allow heat to build up inside to keep them warm, like a greenhouse. A tarp would work in the summer, but I don't think it would accomplish the heat in the winter. Clear plastic would let in the heat, but would obviously be way too hot in the summer. I've seen white plastic, but I'm not sure if I would get the cool/warm results I need with it. Does anyone have any experiences to share?

Thanks!

You'll have to change them out in the winter I use a clear shower curtain and it gets the greenhouse effect during the day it stays noticeably warmer in the run.

Someone on here uses weed landscaping rolls in the summer. Breathable and repels water if it's installed on a slope. But you'd have to cover it with something draft resistance in winter.
