Today due to blizzard conditions up here in the north east the birds didn't have an area to stay warm and eat and drink. Because my coop is very small and dosent allow for food and water to be inside it, I had to build another area were they could comfortably eat and drink. I ended up modifying an old silkie coop and adding it on to the other end of the run were I know keep their food and water. Has anyone else done this? I thought it was a good idea because they now have to get some exercise.
