Hi y’all. I am one of this “CoVid long haulers “, and felt like I had nothing left to offer. Enter my chickens. April 1 I had none, April 14th I wanted 3, I got seven and now I have 18. Red sex links. Leg horns, Olive/Easter eggers. Baby silkies. They are my therapy. I am an older person, just celebrating 44 years of marriage, 3 dogs and now minor flock of raptors. Unless one of these younger ones turns out to be a rooster, I have all hens. Today I sat on the ground and one climbed into my lap and fell asleep. Yep, therapy at its best.

Sorry to hear of the long haulers syndrome, ouch, but glad you made it through to tell the tale and to be a chicken mom! Awesomeness.
