Coyote study

Hmmmmm...........(cat) food for thought. My next door neighbor feeds all the feral cats and they come from everywhere to eat. They also mate at night, usually under the bedroom window

I like cats, but not 20+ pregnant females running amok with scarred up tomcats spraying pi$$ on the corners of my house. I swear, that urine smell penetrates the bricks. It almost makes me want to live trap some coyotes and turn them loose in the neighborhood. Gheesh.

That's a very interesting read. Other articals posted here on BYC have shown that coyotes aren't the only animals making our pets into food. There was an artical not too long ago talking about a problem with urban coons hunting in packs and snatching peoples precious kitties away right in front of them. In my own area, were having an issue with bobcats killing and eating cats and small dogs. My neighbor recently had a bobcat come right up onto her porch and take a cat while she watched and screamed from behind her front door (she's got oodles of cats running around- I don't think I could begin to count them all :/ ). This is an issue that we've created for ourselves, and the wildlife will likely pay the ultimate price for our mistake. Thanks for sharing!

coons and feral cats live in peace you can see 100s of them living together behind the parlement in ottawa the capital

i also see feral cats and foxes sharing shelter areas hiding out from coyotes inbetween houses under decks

Foxes, cats possums, coons all get along here but when a yote or
bobcat show up it will be hours befor the others return to the feeder,
even when my dogs run them off the feeder they come back just as soon as they know they are back at the barn.
