Coyote tried getting my girls!

This morning while I was making my coffee my girls started making some noise. It was 7:00 am and I figured they were anoyed that I had not let them out for their free range, but then I heard panick and when I went out there was a giant coyote trying to get in their coop! This thing was bigger than my 80lb dog. I want to fortify my coop to make it harder to penetrate does anyone have any ideas?

Yes, I believe hot wires are really your only option with that coop.
I'm quite surprised the coyote didn't knock it over and run off with one of your chickens.
