Coyotes

One was caught in Central park middle of NYC.

They are extremely adaptable and are invading many, many places now. They are even a problem in some urban areas where you would never assume they would be. They are CREEPY sounding animals. I am very worried about the chickens, they were right up at the coop/run area. I hope that it is secure enough. It is a chain link dog kennel with a layer of chicken wire over it with a metal roof over that.

I was very nervous going out to put the chickens away tonight. I guess my husband realized that because he decided to walk with me. I will be glad when we get the coop connected to the run so the girls can go back and forth themselves. I want to get a game cam so that we can see what is going on around the coop at night. We would probably be shocked at what is in our backyard at night.

There 50 dollars on walmart.com with a 1.00 shipping (got the information from ENCHANTED SUNRISE FARMS) currently having the same problem with a mystery animal
I have coyotes aswell they are very Wiley (no pun intended) and they will get into just about anything and if they cant well i had one incident were they pulled a hen THROUGH the chain link fence and idk how they got her out of the roost to begin with but deffinatly take that gun with you and be safe
