CRACK CORN

My pullets are about 13 weeks old. I have 5 hens & 1 rooster.is it safe to give them cracked corn how often and how much do I give them.

They're old enough to eat it, but limit it to treats. Cracked corn is like candy to chickens! I just throw a handful here and there when I let them out in the morning, or when I want to coax them back into the coop.

X2 what DA said...I try not to feed much or any corn during the summer months as it makes the chickens hot and does not have much nutrition. But it's fine to give a handful to them for a treat every once in awhile.
