My beautiful Empress seems to have had an accident and cracked her beak, possibly breaking lower jaw on one side.
I think she probably fell from high up and snagged it on something on the way down. She is content and eats things that are soft enough to swallow, but I am scared the cracks are necrotic and it will eventually become fatal. I tried to take her to the vet only to discover he wasn't alive any more! Avian vets are almost non-existent here, so if it needs operating on the best option will be to have a local vet do it under the remote guidance of an avian expert.
An advice on how serious it is and how to treat gratefully received. Likewise for a reference for a vet willing to help from afar.

It does look like the lower jaw is broken. If it was just a crack in the keratin it wouldn’t be much to worry about but the crack that travels down the jawbone you’re right to worry about.
I wish I could give advice but I haven’t seen something this severe, I think it’s best to have a vet clean up the wound so that it can hopefully heal better, as long as it doesn’t become necrotic her beak may be a little deformed but it shouldn’t inhibit her quality of life.

I agree w/ @Goosebaby. Need to see if they can clean it up, and I'd personally bring her inside in a low stress/impact environment so she couldn't accidentally break/grab it more.

I do worry w/ beak necrosis its because of maybe she can't clean out the feed from her beak, and bacteria is growing inside of it which can lead to necrosis. I've seen this happen in a chicken one time (full split crack), and turkeys too. I do worry if it is that she's going to start having more and more issues till the beak is either flush, or easy to get stuff out of.

Hope she gets better.
