Cracked Corn vs Duck Feed

So I'm needing to replace their duck food.

I recall when I was younger my dad always got cracked corn for the ducks.

I'm wondering if that would be a good thing to do. I find the duck food, when it gets wet, gets mushy and icky and attracts a ton of flies. I'm thinking cracked corn won't do this.

Corn only will not have all the vitamins and nutrients they need.

So what mix of their diet is it okay to put cracked corn in? 50/50?

I'm thinking if I mix it in the at the times when they are splashing near water, give them corn, but at night in their cage, give them the duck food.

They would do best on an all flock or Waterfowl feed

What are you feeding that gets gross. Cracked corn is like deciding to feed your children just candy

I've been giving them the Purina Duck Feed pellets. Can you suggest something that doesn't get sticky and goopy when wet?

If feeding flock raiser, the pellets do better than crumbles. I feed Mazuri, which holds up well in the humid climate in in but is pricey.
